Fall is for apples. The kitchen, in my opinion, is for creation.
I've been wanting to try this kind of thing for a while. Apple crisp, but INSIDE the apple. I debated slicing the apples into bits and putting them into muffin cups. I debated just making apple crisp or muffins.
But I decided to give this a whirl, and made it up as I went along. Do I need to tweak amounts next time? Of course.
